Dappy is hoping to 'trend forever' after getting a hashtag tattooed onto his face.

The UK rapper uploaded a photo of his face over the weekend with a small black hashtag next to one of his eyes.

The Celebrity Big Brother man added that he got the Twitter themed symbol inked in order to 'trend forever'.

Dappy said: "And by the way, the reason I got a # Tatted on my FACE was simply 2 make sure IT stays trending 4 ever."

The tattoo, however, has received a mixed response from fans and onlookers.

The rapper meanwhile is due to perform at London's O2 Islington Academy on April 10 and 11.
