Dappy: 'Management took my Twitter password away from me'

'No Regrets' hitmaker Dappy has admitted that his bosses have stopped him from voicing his honest opinions on social networking sites by changing his password.

In an exclusive interview with Digital Spy, the star explained that after a few 'Twitter fights' his managers decided to step in so that he could no longer post public messages on a whim:

"I don't have my password for Twitter anymore. Management have took it off me."

"So yeah, you know, I've gotta be just normal for now, keep the focus about the music."

He added that now he can't upload "silly" messages perhaps the industry will embrace his debut solo album and it'll get the air play it deserves:

"It's unbelievable because radio never accepted me because of the controversial behaviour - the spontaneous me obviously being silly, but it's gone straight in at number 12 [on iTunes] without radio play. Hopefully they'll play it now and it goes top five."

Dappy also opened up about writing a song with The Wanted and revealed that he'll also star in the track's video: "I've written an amazing song for me and The Wanted. I've got a song called 'Bring It Home', which I wrote it with Nathan."

"We spent two days together, he's my little buddy, it is a masterpiece as well. We're doing a video for that very, very shortly. Me and the five lads, gonna be six of us plodding around in the video."
