Dappy to "curl up in a ball and cry" if new album doesn't hit No.1

Dappy has admitted that he will be "devastated" if his new album doesn't reach No.1.

The rapper and singer released his debut solo album 'Bad Intentions' on Monday (October 22) and it is said to be at No.6 on in the midweek chart.

Speaking to the Daily Star, the N-Dubz man revealed that he may well be brought to tears if the album doesn't shoot up the charts and land at No.1 when the final list is revealed on Sunday (October 28). He said:

"If it don't go number one I will be devastated, I'm going to curl up in a ball and cry."

Dappy added that he has some strong competition from the likes of Taylor Swift and Lawson - and he's not too confident of landing the No.1 as a result. He said:

"If I don't go number one what am I gonna do? It's over? Obviously I got Taylor Swift and Lawson also releasing albums and I'm s**t-scared if I tell you the truth. It's got to stay at number one or number two midweek and got to stay that position by miles for Sunday. I got a dream to fulfil and kids to feed."
