Dappy loses assault conviction appeal
Dappy has lost an appeal to overturn his conviction for assault.
As previously reported, the rapper was given a six-month suspended sentence in January after being found guilty of assault and affray.
He was also fined and told to complete 150 hours of community service following a brawl at a Surrey petrol station in February 2012.
The N-Dubz man appealed the decision, but it was turned down today (April 30) at London's Court of Appeal.
Three other men were involved in the original incident, with 25-year-old Kieran Vassell, of Hammersmith, west London found guilty of affray.
Alfred Miller, 28, of Brentford, west London had pleaded guilty to affray whilst Kalonji Stewart, 32, of Harborne, Birmingham was found not guilty of affray.
