The M’goo Project  have announced details of their new single ‘Square One’ set for release on May 12th through Edge Of The Box Music alongside their first headlining performance of 2014 on June 13th at The Manchester Academy.

The M’goo Project comprises of three songwriters: Matt Warnock (Guitar), Jeff Louch (Keyboard) and Mike Meighu (Lead Vocals).  The talented threesome met 12 years ago whilst studying music together in Montreal and officially formed The M’goo Project in 2011. 

“We are obsessed with being creative, artistic, along with forming thought provoking subject matter and content in our music” says Mike “We tend to write music inspired by good stories.  Our first ‘music story’, which we released last year – ‘Let's Fly to the Moon’ was inspired by Frank Oceans coming out letter in 2013.  In essence it is about falling in love with something that was not meant to be and the power of self-discovery” he says “Our new music story Square One is about acceptance being one of the pillars of love you have for someone.  It is told through the inspiring true life story of a woman being a carer for her manic depressive musician brother”.

The M’goo Project have been gaining a growing following through YouTube over the past year, with their unique blend of music stories fused with a contemporary ballet twist in the accompanying videos, which also form an integral part of the live show experience.  Matt Holland, part of the award winning cast of ‘We Will Rock You’ creates the captivating dance routines which usher in The M’goo Project live show and videos.
