LUCY MASON ANNOUNCES SUMMER FESTIVAL DATE

Australian singer songwriter Lucy Mason has announced her first main stage festival show this summer, at the hugely popular Lodestar Festival on August 31st and follows the success of her ‘White As Snow’ EP available now through iTunes.

2013 was a fantastic year for Lucy, seeing her star rapidly ascending. Her personal highlight was an invitation by the Mayor’s office to perform a gig in front of thousands in London’s iconic Trafalgar Square, despite it being the most nerve racking experience of her life! She went on to support both Josh Kumra (RCA) and Matt Corby (Atlantic) on tour, as well as hitting 20 UK universities on a tour curated by Radio 1 DJ Huw Stephens. “It was the best experience playing somewhere different each night and meeting new fans. Now I want to tour the world!” said Lucy.

Lucy’s EP ‘White As Snow’, is a collection of songs, which showcase Lucy’s hauntingly pure yet powerful voice, as well as being a master class in illustrative and poignant lyrics. Lucy says about the title track: “White As Snow is about having an affair with the world. I'm from Australia and now I'm living in London and there's this pressure within myself to feel like I need to want to live in Australia because it's where my family is but I have this new love for London and for the rest of the world that I've only just discovered. Not knowing where your home is when you are in between is really difficult especially when you know what you want and what you want may not be what everyone else wants.”

Lucy will also be playing some incredible live shows (full details on Lucy Mason Music Facebook Page) going on tour and finishing work on her debut full length album. “I have no idea what will happen, but I live by faith and I love it,” she says.
