This weekend in LA, Leona is hosting 'An Evening with Leona Lewis and Friends' at a private residence in Beverley Hills.

Leona recently announced that she was  pledging to save Hopefield Animal Sanctuary in Brentwood, Essex - a charity that, as a passionate animal welfare campaigner and vegetarian, is very close to her heart. She has made several visits to the sanctuary in the past few months, most recently for a sponsored walk that raised over £14,000.  

This event in LA kicks off a string of fundraising events that Leona will be involved in for the charity between now and Christmas. On Saturday Leona will host an evening of live entertainment (she will perform, as will friend Natasha Bedingfield) alongside cocktails and canapes.

Guests expected to attend and include Perez Hilton, Nicole Scherzinger, Steve Jones, Paula Abdul, Matthew Morrison, Jeremy Piven, Rob Kardashian, Kristin Cavallari and Kevin Mchale.
