Wheels Turn Beneath My Feet- out October 8th

Following his stunning 2011 album ‘Perfect Darkness’, Fink announces the release of the band’s much anticipated debut live album ‘Wheels Turn Beneath My Feet’ documenting the mammoth ‘Perfect Darkness Tour’ - out October 8th on Ninja Tune Records.   

Composed of 13 previously unreleased live recordings (2011-2012) from European cities as varied as Paris, Amsterdam, Prague, Vienna, and London, it includes fan favorites such as ‘Sort of Revolution’, ‘This Is The Thing’, ‘Fear Is Like Fire’‘Yesterday Was Hard On All Of Us’and ‘Berlin Sunrise’ (full tracklisting below). The album is presented in an exquisite 84-page hardbound bookpack, featuring a treasure-trove of live photography by acclaimed Dutch photographers Tommy N Lance.  The album will also be available on gatefold vinyl, and perfectly captures Fink’s ferociously inventive and impassioned live performances.

Selling more than 20,000 tickets and covering over 14 countries throughout Europe, the highly successful ‘Perfect Darkness Tour’ saw Fink collaborate with award-winning designers 59 Productions. Together they created a bespoke lighting installation alongside custom-shot projections to deliver a totally unique and highly dynamic stage environment for the music. Taking the show one step further, the band will be back on the road again in November, not only with an enhanced stage show, but this time with 2 additional players in the band. The ‘Wheels Tour’ will hit stages in France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, The Netherlands, England, Belgium, and Poland over a 3-week period commencing at the Cabaret Sauvage circus tent in Paris on Tuesday November 6th and ending with a homecoming show at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire on Tuesday November 27th. For ticket information visit finkworld.co.uk
