Leona set to help discover talent of tomorrow as she gives the amazing opportunity to remix new single 'Trouble'

Leona Lewis has announced a unique competition to remix her acclaimed new single 'Trouble'.  DJs, producers and all creative music minds are invited to put their own spin on this brand new track and be judged to win the exclusive prize of having their track featured as the B-side to 'Trouble' when it is released on October 7th.  The winner will also receive £1000 prize money and a pair of top-of-the-range headphones.

'Trouble' is an anguished epic journey that reveals ethereal, haunting tones that simultaneously showcase the sheer power and intimacy of Leona's incredible voice. Speaking from the heart, Leona co-wrote 'Trouble' with a stellar cast of home grown talent; Emeli Sande, Naughty Boy, Craze and Hoax, and Fraser T Smith, resulting in a standout track that she is incredibly passionate about.

Giving the exclusive chance to remix the track offers people the chance to creatively interpret the song in an entirely individual way and Leona looks forward to seeing what people can bring to the table.

Leona said, "I can’t wait for you guys to start remixing 'Trouble'!  It is such an important song to me and I know that you will all put your creative talents into it.  I'm looking forward to hearing what you will come up with and don't forget there are some great prizes to be won too!"

Leona will judge all entries herself, alongside acclaimed producer Fraser T Smith who is known for his work with Adele, Plan B, Florence & The Machine and Britney Spears amongst others.  Fraser is also the executive producer on Leona’s third studio album 'Glassheart', released October 14th.  

Leona has previously described the song as telling the story of "love going bad and becoming destructive", and she is inviting people to draw on their own interpretations of the song and bring them to life in fresh new ways.

All stems from the 'Trouble' track will be available to download and the judges will give special consideration to different/diverse remixes - any genre, any style.
