Freq. Entertainment Announce Brand New Technology That Brings Music and Gaming Even Closer
Freq. Trigger To Be Launched Early 2013

Games developer Freq. Entertainment are today announcing a revolution in the way in which music interacts with the games industry. The London based company have developed the first in a series of games which respond and behave differently to any music that is played through them, music will alter virtually every aspect of the game. 

Every song provides a unique gaming experience. For example a level played to Adele will react completely differently to a level played to Psy’s Gangnam style. Once you have competed to your favorite songs you will be able to upload your scores to social media sites, seeing if you have beaten other competitors around the world. Freq. will unite three worlds, music, gaming and social networks. 

Richard Hayden, Freq.’s Creative Director said, 

“Freq. allows you to do more with your music, and get more out of your games.  Think of your music as levels.  Your music drives what happens in each game.  Play whatever music you like, and each song becomes a unique gaming experience.”

This link between music, gaming and social media could provide the music industry with a whole new platform of getting music heard. It could also give established bands the chance to globally launch new music in a completely interactive environment. Hayden also said, 

“With the facility to turn every song into a unique gaming experience, Freq. allows any band, large or small, to reach a wider audience, remonetize classic songs, give fans a taster from forthcoming albums and is the perfect platform to offer previously unreleased material - with no cost to the band.”

The first game, scheduled to come off the production line in early 2013, will be Freq.Trigger, a 2D physics based shooter. To finish the game Freq. Entertainment are looking for additional public funding, giving budding entrepreneurs the chance to get involved in a truly revolutionary project from the very start.
