Internationally renowned artist and DJ of choice Lora presents new single ‘Fresh Heatbreak’ featuring Vula Malinga, the stunning vocalist of Basement Jaxx, released worldwide on November 11th through Strictly Rhythm Records.

Experiencing some fresh heartbreak herself, DJ Lora was letting off steam in the studio. With a knock at the door, she was surprised to have attracted the attention of Vula of Basement Jaxx’s from the corridor. Vula added vocals there and then to create a raw, honest and organic sound for the track.

Vula’s mesmerizing voice combined with Lora’s years of deep studio dedication means ‘Fresh Heartbreak’ is guaranteed to set the dance floor ablaze! It is a rarity to find a dance track which relates so directly to women - this is exactly what Lora has achieved with this liberating powerhouse.

About the single Lora says:“Every girl has gone through it at some point, every girl will go through it at some point, and sometimes you just need to shout about it... That’s exactly what this track reflects - Heartbreak, in particular fresh heartbreak. Nothing feels better than being able to put into words when you heart feels completely broken beyond repair. Sometimes you just need to be able to sing the pain out loud!”

Lora entered the underground consciousness with her EP ‘Slow’ in September which included the track ‘Gypsy Women’, both proved to be huge amongst the deep house elite. ‘Fresh Heartbreak’ is now set to confirm Lora’s status as the celebrity-favourite turnable queen.
