Superstar DJ Deadmau5 reportedly bashed Kanye West during an interview, but has joked that he doesn't even remember talking about the 'Heartless' rapper.

Britain's The Sun newspaper quotes Deadmau5 as saying that he would never work with West: "Anyone other than f****** Kanye. I f***** hate him.”

As soon as the Canadian hitmaker and producer caught wind of the story, he took to his official page and explained that he has no recollection of ever saying that: "Holy crap! LMFAOx21, Jesus, I say some gnarly shit sometimes... Hahahaha... Oh man. I don't even remember that one... Oh well."

He then posted a screenshot of a text message conversation (pictured below), in which he can be seen telling a friend that he never slammed West. Deadmau5 added: "I'm done, that ones to bed, lets move on."
