UK based singer/songwriter and producer Pete Beat has been writing and recording music over the past 25 years. He started playing the guitar and producing his own music in the early nineties.

His single release on a small American label in 2006 was the kickoff for Pete's career. A year later he appeared on a Russian trance record as vocalist. Both events kept providing him with inspiration to continue making music. So far Pete has released two albums within the space of a year, followed by EPs and singles released across the last 10 years. Pete's recent releases have gained airplay on BBC6Music and BBC Newcastle as well as positive comments from DJ's such as Tom Robinson at BBC6Music saying he made "the most charming record of last week, if not the entire year".

His style of music includes elements of folk, electronica, jazz and pop and is influenced by the Beatles, David Bowie and Daft Punk, which is making it very unique. In Pete's own words: "Aiming for a specific genre just doesn't appeal to me". He rather goes for whatever interests him at the time and waits for the inspiration before sitting down to work.
