Being a singer-songwriter, actor and model, Amey has had a varied career. She has previously appeared in music videos for the likes of Krept & Konan as well as Big Narstie. Recently, Amey has written and performed a theatrical piece with her daughter Zakia called 'Voices Of The Motherhood,' exploring their relationship and touching upon issues of immigration, race, family and identity.

After fighting a postnatal depression that lead to a drug and alcohol addiction, she is now able to commit herald to music once again. Her uplifting, retro-tinged music brings a positive message at a time where the world needs it the most.
