Pseudopomp Gear Up for Sophomore Single 'Only Just' Following Acclaimed DebutOFFICIAL PRESS RELEASENEWS PROVIDED BY Decent Music PR Limited Alt-rock duo Pseudopomp, comprised of Greek musician Iosif and British-Bulgarian artist Katerina, return with their highly anticipated sophomore single, ‘Only Just’. Following the success of their debut track ‘23’, the duo continues to captivate listeners with their signature blend of spooky alt-rock and unconventional songwriting. Pseudopomp, long-term residents of London’s vibrant music scene, formed out of late-night jam sessions after band practice with their previous project. Those spontaneous after-hours jams laid the foundation for the duo's distinct sound, blending eerie riffs, off-kilter rhythms, and compelling narrative lyricism. The first batch of recordings, including ‘Only Just’, came from this unplanned and organic collaboration. ‘Only Just’ is an anti-love song that ruminates on the frustration, confusion, and inconvenience of falling helplessly in love. Steeped in dark yet melodious alt-rock, the track combines haunting riffs and unsettling melodies that perfectly capture the feeling of emotional unrest. The song’s climactic epiphany at 2:28—marked by faint piano notes—delivers a pivotal moment where the narrator realises that the inevitable heartbreak has finally set in. The duo has recorded all the instruments for their upcoming release, collaborating once again with producer, Ben 'Faz' Farestvedt. They’ve spent the summer making waves in London’s indie scene with a series of acoustic gigs and are currently rehearsing with a full band to bring their atmospheric songs fully to life on stage. With the release of ‘Only Just’, a track that showcases Pseudopomp's blend of raw emotion, spooky alt-rock, and unhinged energy, the duo is primed to be one of the indie scene’s most exciting new acts.
