Depeche Mode announce UK and Ireland tour

Electro-popsters Depeche Mode have just announced four UK / Ireland dates for this December. The trio (now sans Alan Wilder since '95) embark on their 'Tour of the Universe' in May, which sees them perform all over Europe, Asia and the US, with just a solitary date at the O2. With the announcement of the December dates, the band now have two O2 dates this year - the sold-out May date, and the new December date, as well as dates in Dublin, Glasgow, Birmingham and Manchester. Latest album 'Sounds of the Universe' - their twelfth studio album - is out on 20th April, and should be reviewed on this site in the next few weeks. Tickets for the December tour, which kicks-off at the Point in Dublin on 10th December, start from £35 and will be available here this Friday (27th March) at 9AM.
