Dizzee Rascal delaying autobiography to focus on album

British rapper Dizzee Rascal has pushed back the release of his autobiography to focus on his next album.

The 'Holiday' chart-topper has been writing his book with music journalist Ben Thompson, but he is determined to finish his fifth record before his autobiography hits the shelves.

In an interview with London's Evening Standard, he said: "The book has been pushed back a bit - I'll probably get the album out first. I sit there with Ben Thompson and tell him everything. Everyone's got secrets and I've got more than plenty."

Rascal (real name Dylan Kwabena Mills), admits he has enjoyed the creative process: "It was a bit of a therapy session, because I ain't had no therapy sessions before. Telling someone everything has been great."

'The Dizzee Rascal Story' is now scheduled for a 2013 release.
