Dr. Dre confirms interest in Tupac hologram tour

Dr. Dre has confirmed he is interested in taking the Tupac hologram on tour following the positive response to the stunt at Coachella on Sunday.

The hip-hop mogul, whose performance with Snoop Dogg at the Californian festival contained two songs featuring a hologram of the late rapper, told TMZ that he is open to repeating the visual spectacle in the future.

He said: "I think everybody's in love with it right now. We're having fun. I’m thinking about it.”

The 47-year-old also admitted he was “working on some new and different things for the future" whilst discussing the technology behind the idea, and that he hopes several other artists will follow in their footsteps:

"Hopefully we can see Jimi Hendrix and Marvin Gaye . . . Let's see what happens."
