Dua Lipa Working With Mark Ronson on New Album

Dua Lipa is working with acclaimed record producer Mark Ronson on her upcoming third album.

According the The Sun newspaper, the 27-year-old British singer-songwriter returned to a recording studio in New York City this month to work on her eagerly-awaited new effort. Lipa - who released her last album, Future Nostalgia, in 2020 - was also joined in the studio by Ronson.

Ronson, 47, has worked with a host of big-name artists over the years, including Amy Winehouse, Adele, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus and Bruno Mars. Whats more, he and Lipa previously joined forces on the hit single "Electricity", which also featured Diplo.

Earlier this year, Lipa gave fans an insight into what they can expect from her new LP.

The London-born star admitted to feeling "even more liberated" at this stage of her career and shared: "As I'm writing my new album, I feel even more liberated in a completely different way. And even more in control than I thought."

She also revealed that she now feels more confident than ever before, believing that her new-found confidence is reflected in her music. She said: "As an artist, as you evolve and you practise your craft - the more you spend time really honing things - the more comfortable and confident you are. And that's how I felt with Future Nostalgia."

Lipa revealed that she has relished the experience of touring following the COVID-19 pandemic, likening the feeling of performing in front of thousands of fans to being "invincible".

She said: "I get to see it take on a whole new lease on life. Once I've sung the first line of the first song, there's a feeling of almost being invincible, of joining forces with the music… and just having fun."

Her Future Nostalgia LP received critical acclaim and earned six Grammy nominations—including Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year—and became her first U.K. No. 1 album.

Lipa has received numerous accolades, including six Brit Awards, three Grammy Awards, two MTV Europe Music Awards, an MTV Video Music Award, two Billboard Music Awards, an American Music Award, and two Guinness World Records. Her hit single, "Levitating", was also crowned Song of the Year in March at the 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
