Duran Duran's Simon Le Bon: 'We're due for a big musical rebellion'

Duran Duran's frontman Simon Le Bon graces the cover of April's #legend magazine and in the accompanying interview he opened up about the state of the music industry

The 'Rio' hitmaker explained that now is the perfect time for a "big musical rebellion" and he's just waiting for it to happen: “The scope for rebellion is really big now. There’s a lot for young people to kick against. I think we’re due for a big, big musical rebellion. And I’m looking forward to it.”

He also confessed that he would never be caught dead as a judge on a TV vocal talent show like 'The Voice' because there's no respect in a position like that as it's all about money and status: “My band would kill me… I mean, never say never but… I don’t want to be part of the establishment. It feels like giving in… It’s money. It’s tainted money and it’s not good for artists.”
