Ed Sheeran, Emeli Sandé and more cover Elton John tracks for album re-issueThe likes of Ed Sheeran and Emeli Sandé have contributed covers to a re-issue of Sir Elton John's 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road'. A host of musicians have recorded cover versions of some of the 1973 album's tracks for a new re-issue that will be released on March 24. Nine covers will feature on the deluxe and box set editions of the re-issue, with Sheeran taking on the classic 'Candle in the Wind'. Sandé has covered 'All The Girls Love Alice' whilst Miguel and Wale have put their spin on 'Bennie and the Jets'. Fall Out Boy have recorded a cover of 'Saturday Night’s Alright For Fighting' and BRIT Award nominee John Grant has cut to tape 'Sweet Painted Lady'. The box set edition of the re-issue will also include a 100-page hardbook, a documentary and a live CD. The tracklisting meanwhile for the covers collection is as follows:
