Sir Elton John talks Humperdinck collaboration

Music legend Sir Elton John has revealed what a "great time" he had collaborating with Eurovision entry Engelbert Humperdinck.

The musical pair teamed up for Humperdinck's album of duets which is due to be released early next year.

John - who recorded the track in Los Angeles - was thrilled to work alongside the ever-professional singer.

He gushed to the BBC: "We had a great time singing together. He is so quick, what I call a 'one-take singer' - 76 years old and still sounding as good as ever."

Humperdinck revealed how thrilled he is that the British superstar will feature on his upcoming record.

He added: "I'm honoured that he has contributed to this album."

John recently completed his latest residency in Las Vegas, and is set to perform several shows in Australia and China over the coming weeks.
