Eminem's former bodyguard claims Suge Knight tried to have the rapper killed at The Source Awards

Eminem's former bodyguard, Myron Williams, claims that record producer, Suge Knight, once tried to have the rapper killed at the 2001 Source Awards.

Williams told Vulture:

"I noticed that, in the middle of the aisle, [Eminem]'s beefing with all these guys in red shirts. I noticed his face changing, and he's turning like, tomato-red. And there's a sea of red guys around him. I had to bust through the middle and snatch him up.

Williams states that the men in red were sent in from Knight's Death Row Records to 'strong-arm' Eminem.

Knight is currently in custody awaiting trial for the murder of a man on the set of 'Straight Outta Compton'. He allegedly ran the man over on the set of the movie. His bail was set at $25 million.

Knight is the co-founder and former CEO of Death Row Records.  In June 2015 he commenced legal proceedings against Chris Brown after Knight was shot several times in a nightclub in 2014. He claims this is why he ran over two men on the 'Straight Outta Compton' film set.
