UK hitmaker Example has felt the wrath of Cher Lloyd's fanbase on Twitter after slating her new single, 'Swagger Jagger'. 

On June 15, the 'Kickstarts' singer publicly joked that her single leaking was "the biggest crime since she got a record deal" and his tongue-in-cheek remark prompted the X Factor finalist's fans to bombard his newsfeed with angry messages. 

Writing yesterday, June 16, Example dismissed the backlash with another round of entertaining comments:

"Around 20% of my mentions today have all been about how Cher Lloyd is actually better than me because she has more followers. Amazing"

"Dear Cher Lloyd fans, yes Cher Lloyd has 200,000 more followers than me but 300,000 of them are her cousins"
