Example on course to score No.1 with 'Stay Awake'

UK artists have taken the Top 40 singles chart by storm this evening and are now occupying both the No.1 and No.1 positions. 

Example is at the top with his new offering, 'Stay Awake', while singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran is following very closely behind at No.2 with 'You Need Me, I Don't Need You'. 

Olly Murs, who celebrated a No.1 single over the weekend with 'Heart Skips A Beat', is now at No.3 and Maroon 5 have moved down 1 place to No.5 with their Christina Aguilera collaboration, 'Moves Like Jagger'. 

These positions are due to be confirmed on Sunday, September 4 although the Official Charts Company has admitted that Example is on course to stay at the top. Check out his video for 'Stay Awake' here:
