Example has scored his second UK No.1 single with 'Stay Awake' just a few months after his first chart-topping release, 'Changed The Way You Kiss Me'. 

The 'Kickstarts' star has enjoyed incredible success so far this year, which looks set to continue as tonight (September 4) he fought off tough competition from Maroon 5 ft. Christina Aguilera's No.2 single, 'Moves Like Jagger'. 

Tweeting a message of thanks to his fans this evening, Example wrote:

"Stay Awake is Officially No.1. Thanks to everyone who supported this track. Never expected a 2nd No.1. Celebrating with a hot wing. Huge thankyou to @NeroUK for their world class production on Stay Awake."

Ed Sheeran's 'You Need Me, I Don't Need You' entered the chart at No.4, Barbados based act Cover Drive have made an appearance at No.9 with 'Lick Ya Down' and David Guetta ft. Nicki Minaj's 'Turn Me On' debuted at No.20.
