Example promises 'loud and aggressive' first arena tour

Example has promised fans that his first arena tour will be ‘loud, aggressive and ravey.’

The 29-year-old, who last year topped the charts with ‘Changed The Way You Kiss Me’ and parent album, ‘Playing In The Shadows’, told the Daily Star that he can’t wait to begin the five-date tour, which kicks off at Aberdeen’s Exhibition and Conference Centre on April 24:

He said: “I’m getting an even bigger letter E made for on stage than the one I have at the moment."

But the ‘Kickstarts’ singer, who recently confirmed a new collaboration with Calvin Harris, revealed that despite the bigger stage, he’ll still be keeping some things simple:

“I find pop shows all about dancers and changing your costume after every song.

“I will be wearing the same black T-shirt throughout the show but I think that’s what people like about me.”

Example’s biggest ever headlining tour moves onto Nottingham, London and Manchester before finishing at the Bournemouth International Centre on April 30.
