Swedish House Mafia splash out on private jet for support act Example

Example has revealed that Swedish House Mafia have splashed out on a private jet so that he can support them at their final One Night Stand UK gig.

The 30-year-old, who will appear on the bill alongside the likes of Calvin Harris, Madeon and Pete Tong at the Milton Keynes Bowl show on July 14, told the Daily Star that the DJ supergroup were so keen to have him on board that they’ve offered to fly him over from his other gig, scheduled on the same day:

“Swedish House Mafia want the biggest names in dance music at the gig. They invited me but I was committed to a festival in Switzerland so they offered to pay to get me a jet so I’m able to do both.

“We’ve dropped all the dubstep from my set. It’ll be a trance/disco-fest for Milton Keynes and probably the only time we do something like that. I pride myself in being able to move people for a show.”

Sebastian Ingrosso, Axwell and Steve Angello announced they are to split last week, and the ‘Kickstarts’ singer said he understands why they made the decision:

“They were massive names before Swedish House Mafia so they don’t need to stay together. It makes sense for them to go off and do their own thing.”
