'Changed The Way You Kiss Me' hitmaker Example has opened up about his relationship with Miss Australia beauty Eric McNaught and revealed that he might "get married next year".

Speaking to The Sun newspaper on a personal level, he explained that he is truly happy and can see himself settling down with her now that he has learned how to deal with the balance between his public and private lives:

"What helps me a lot is just knowing my girlfriend is there to support me - and knowing I can tell her anything. She has almost become like a best mate, and trustee, as well as my partner. I don't want to lose her, and if I do behave like an idiot I can tell her. I think I'm going to get married next year and I hope to have kids the year after. I know what I want now."

He added that he doesn't have to lie to her or hide his true feelings, and because of that he knows it'll work: "We work so well because I just can't risk losing her, but at the same time she excites me because she's not just a normal person and understands my life."

"She listens to the lyrics on the album and I don't feel like I have anything to worry about. I don't have to lie to her. It sounds ridiculous but this is the happiest I have ever been and I don't mean that in the Kerry Katona sense - she says that about once a month, for every mag deal she does."
