THE SCHEME

Announce stunning new double A-side charity single and unveil celebrity girl band protégés

Spinning hot off the back of their debut success in 2014, The Scheme take 2015 up a gear with the release of their second double-A-side charity single, ‘Dust / Jordan’s Smile’ on 25 July.  Plus, as the trio of super-talented singer/songwriters announce the hotly-tipped new celebrity girl band, Alula, as their female protégés, and sign a deal to play their self-penned charity track, ‘Jordan’s Smile’, at the Amway Arena (Florida) in front of thousands in July, it’s clear that The Scheme are a band with a plan – a plan that’s booming to unprecedented success.

The first single from their debut album (which is set for release in the Autumn), ‘Dust’ is an upbeat, melodic tale of worn-out love.  A beautiful lyrical masterpiece vocally depicting a critical crossroads in a relationship – one which could turn into a glittering fairy-tale or fritter away to dust.  With dances mixes by Chris Simmonds (Concise Vocal Mix) and Chris Henry (UltraBeat ) Floor Fillers Mix, the track was recorded at the famous Parr Street Studios in Liverpool, which was previously owned by Phil Collins, where names such as Drake, Rihanna, Coldplay have all recorded famously recoded.  The original piano that Chris Martin and Coldplay recorded and performed ‘A Rush Of Blood To The Head’ is the same piano that they used to record ‘Dust’ and features heavily on the The Scheme’s forthcoming debut album that’s due in Autumn 2015.

The flip-side on this double-A side release is The Scheme’s charity track, ‘Jordan’s Smile’, which promotes awareness for The Jordan Smelski Foundation For Amoeba Awareness.  This is in memory of 11-year-old, Jordan Smelski, who died suddenly from a fatal amoeba which he contracted when he swam in a hot water spring when on holiday in Florida.  The amoeba is common, but the symptoms are often confused for meningitis, therefore wrongly treated to fatal ends.  The Scheme want to raise awareness to prevent this happening to others and will be performing the song, which they wrote specifically for this cause, to a crowd of over 15,000 at the Amway Arena, Florida, in July as part of this awareness raiser.  100% of the sales will go direct to the charity.

The Scheme are highly talented combination of Kris, Kyle and Aleksey.  Each are formidable vocalists in their own right, but the harmonies their voices create are truly off the hook. Blending into a distinctive sound that’s somewhere betwixt The Script meets Lawson, these boys are creating a vibe like no other musical fusion out there. Look beyond the hoards of screaming fans and enviable jaw-dropping image and you’ll find a solid 3-piece whose melodies and lyrics are comparable to some of the best in the business.

Added to their own musical ventures, the boys are also close mentors to their new female protégé band, Alula.  Blown away by the band’s sound, celebrity friend, Dawn Ward, star of reality TV show, Real Housewives of Cheshire, asked the boys to help her talented daughter, Darby Ward, create a female version of The Scheme’s magic.  The 3-piece girl band, Alula, were born, and are rapidly garnering huge media and public attention under the watchful guiding eye of The Scheme.  As never seen before, The Scheme and Alula are working together to simultaneously take their new male and female trios onto the UK music scene.

Personally, the boys already have an impressive list of celebrity fans including Pixie Lott, Coleen Nolan, Dee Cee Lee, Tinchy Stryder, Basement Jaxx, Michael Angelo (producer) Zane Lowe, Yeah Boy and Jessie J.  Added to this, professional skater, Matt Ivers, has personally requested to skate to ‘Sick Of You in the ice-dance show in the US/UK called Dancing With The Professionals.

An almighty online following, a stunning second single, their debut album on its way and girl-band mentors – it’s all stacking up to be a sparkling year for The Scheme.

The double-A side single, ‘Dust / Jordan’s Smile’ is released on 25 July 2015
