The Russian indie pop band Sukhie will be playing The Scotch Club on November 4th. The band, who formed in 2009, have a loyal Russian following throughout their career, and are ready to take the next step and give their UK fanbase what they want.

The band will be playing at the legendary venue that has played host to a great many musicians like Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Sonny and Cher, John Legend and Mark Ronson.

Sukhie are a breathe of fresh air in the Russian music scene, and produce songs that not only speak to your soul, and get you thinking, but also get you moving. Sukhie’s enthusiastic spirit and energetic live shows have landed them such Russian festivals as Nashestvie, Krylya, not to mention spots in some of the best clubs in Moscow. The band has also toured in America and Georgia.

Sukhie are no strangers to radio and TV either, and have been on countless famous Russian radio shows, and music channels. The love they have received from the media and their online fans has been astounding.

Lead singer Nastya Palchikova is the heart of the band. Nastya is a musician and screenwriter who works with some of the biggest names in the Russian film industry, so she is used to working with creative visionaries to produce artistic and inspired pieces. Nastya’s stage presence during live shows is hypnotic. Her charming, mesmerising essence is what keeps you glued to the stage when Sukhie are performing.

The band are constantly experimenting and developing their sound, and creating songs that have meaningful lyrics and enthralling melodies. The band’s debut album is called ‘Dry’, and features their beloved hit single ‘Moscow’.
