Internationally acclaimed, award-winning singer-songwriter, Tally Koren, announces the release of her poignant new album, ‘A Love Song For You’, on 18 March.  Preceding this, the title track, which carries personal sentiment to Tally as she wrote it for her husband, will be available for download ahead of Valentines Day on the 12February via iTunes, Amazon, and all digital stores.  Having created a stunning album which celebrates her own personal achievements, Tally will be speaking out for women on International Women’s Day when she performs live and presents her case for accelerated gender parity (in x3 languages) at the House of Lords.

The release of the album follows hot on the heels of the success of her previous releases which were played by Chris Evans, Graham Norton and Steve Wright on BBC Radio 2, play-listed on 40 other UK-based radio stations and featuring on the Virgin Media TV playlist.  ‘A Love Song For You’ is a collection of love songs that speak to your heart, each a melodic tale of passion and feeling that will resonate perfectly across Tally’s snowballing fan-base.

The single, ‘A Love Song For You’, was written as a surprise for her husband on their wedding day, a true bearing of Tally’s soul to her audience.  Koren co-wrote the track with Barry Upton, the renowned hit songwriter who’s achieved global success in his own right over the last 3 decades.  Mixed by Adam Lunn (Robbie Williams, Gabrielle Aplin and, One Direction) the single was also produced by Phil Curran and Tally Koren.  As a special Valentines Day treat for her fans, Tally offers an additional, cinematic Bonus track on the single, 'Free Will', which see piano & strings recorded by Haydn Bendall, who has previously collaborated with artists such as Kate Bush, Katie Melua and Dido. Featuring Ely Cathedral Girls' Choir.

A well travelled, multi-lingual artist with an insatiable appetite for world music, cultures and art, Tally’s velvety voice offers a delicious blend of pop, jazz, classical, latin and indie, establishing Tally as a truly international artist.  Her rich and endearing voice even caught the attention James Bond directors, placing her as an Israeli agent in the film ‘Quantum of Solace’.  Tally has regularly performed at many top venues with recent highlights including The Marbella International Film Festival and the William Blake Celebration at the Tate Britain.

Tally Koren believes her voice is there to be heard and is extremely passionate about using her music as a melodic tool to bridge the gap between different cultures.  In the past, Tally’s hosted a concert – Music for Peace in the Middle East, where Palestinians and Israelis performed on one stage and she received a prestigious award as an ‘Ambassador for Peace’ at the House of Commons.  Now for 2016, Koren uses her voice to inspire women all over the world.  Her new album, ‘A Love Song For You’ is dedicated to women and is a celebration of the social, economic, cultural and political achievement of the gender.  On International Women’s Day on 8 March, Tally will vocally express her concerns for women globally, using the power of both song and her multi-lingual tongue to speak out and melodically perform for the world at the House of Lords.

A voice of velvet that has the power to shift cultural perceptions – Tally Koren gives her music to YOU!
