The Carnabys Secure Partnership Deal With Iconic British Heritage Brand Ben Sherman

South West London rockers The Carnabys have teamed up with iconic UK brand Ben Sherman for a partnership deal that sees the band join forces with a fashion label that has been synonymous with the British music since the 1960s. The band recently became the youngest patrons of the lauded Music Venue Trust.

Ben Sherman has been worn by some of the UK's greatest bands, including The Jam, Madness, Oasis and Blur. Ben Sherman, are getting behind The Carnabys in a deal that couldn’t make more sense. The young lads, like the prestigious names before them, have cut their teeth on the UK live circuit through relentless touring and have been making a name for themselves whilst doing so.

The Carnabys are an outstanding five-piece who catapulted onto the industry stage when they beat over 12,000 global artists to win ‘Hard Rock Rising 2013’. Since then, the boys have been on a collision course to world success, selling out gigs all over London including venues such as KOKO, The Garage, The Borderline, and The Jazz Café. They’ve also performed to hundreds of thousands of fans, touring with Blondie, and sharing stages with the likes of Lenny Kravitz, Kings Of Leon, Fratellis, Palma Violets, Bruce Springsteen, and Patti Smith. Debbie Harry, in fact, hailed them as one of the best support bands she's seen in years. High praise, indeed!

2016 sees The Carnabys step from support act to main stage – they recently performed at Camden Rocks on 4 June, and The Isle of Wight Festival on 12 June.

The boy’s hotly anticipated new album 'Too Much Never Enough' (due for release August 19) sees them launch a new initiative 'Save Live Music' with the Music Venue Trust, alongside other patrons Elbow, Slaves, and Frank Turner. The Carnabys are very generously donating all pre-sale profits of the album to the charity, doing vital work in saving British live music from extinction. Regarding their new partnership with Ben Sherman, lead singer Jack Mercer says: “It’s absolutely fantastic for all five of us. Ben Sherman has been a big part of the UK rock scene for decades now; some truly amazing bands have worn their clothes. Bands who, like us, started out playing tiny venues as often as they physically could.”

With additional support from the likes of Patti Smith and Steven van Zandt, it looks like there’s no stopping this London Quintet. And after years of playing to modest audiences in our vital smaller venues, the backing of Ben Sherman and the Music Venue Trust sees everything finally falling into place for these talented lads.
