Up and coming star Sam Way takes his latest step on the path to worldwide success by collaborating with fellow singer-songwriter Henry Dell on new single Pretty Liability, out April 21.

Born from a co-write/jam session Pretty Liability is a euphoric rush of a song - a track that has every chance of being the breakout hit of the summer.

The pair met while both playing at the respected Old Queen’s Head venue in Angel, north London, and after crafting the song on the acoustic guitar took to the studio with producer Cherif Hashizume at Café Music Studios in Bow, East London, before having the track mastered by Oscar Lo Brutto. Sam has been at the top of many people’s lists as the tip for greatness this year and it’s easy to see why with a performer who is equally at home with dancefloor-friendly anthems as he is with the role of acoustic troubadour pouring out his heart.

If his face already seems familiar then perhaps you’ve seen him on billboards or in magazines staring in campaigns for brands such as Chanel, Tommy Hilfiger and Diesel. Sam is one of the UKs top male models, but music is where his heart is and the buzz around his previous single Last Page showed he is a force to be reckoned-with. Wonderland writes: “Way’s emotion-drawn lyricism, smooth production and soulful voice make for an organic and emotive listening experience that delves into your psyche and brings out emotions you didn’t know you had.”

The self-taught Devon-born, London-based artist has collaborated with the likes of William Baker (the creative director behind videos for Rihanna, Outkast and Kylie Minogue), Matt Henry (Olivier Award-winning singer/actor) and record producer Moghul Veyron.

His appeal is going way beyond these shores too, with Sam planning to see his sizeable Turkish fan base later on in the year – despite the unrest – whilst also bringing his music closer to fans with gigs at Sofar Sessions in London and in NYC.

Sam, who scaled the upper reaches of the iTunes chart with his debut EP Architect in 2015, will release his mini-album later this year, following an upcoming UK tour which he is currently finalising.

Henry has been writing and making music since he was 15, also self-taught on both guitar and piano, Henry has a wealth of song writing experience; having worked with and been mentored by Simon Little - (Adele, Florence and The Machine) In 2015 Henry released the ‘Rush Hour EP’ which turned heads and ears with its big soulful hooks and was also championed to be the face of Channel US – a massively successful YouTube series that amassed over 1’000’000 views in 2016. Henry is busy working on his 2nd EP, an electro-pop fusion, due for release later this year.

Their single is accompanied by a lyric video created by animator Jack Hyde, a more casual acoustic version of the track, and a remix from Virginia based duo, New Immunity.

Pretty Liability by Sam Way and Henry Dell is released on April 21.
