Run Junkie Announces Revolutionary Pop-Up With Support From Celebrities and Influencers

PRESS RELEASE: January 2018

RUN JUNKIE announces revolutionary Pop-Up with support from Celebrities and Influencers

The new fitness kid on the block partners with Bloodwise and Technogym for ground-breaking (literally!) pop-up

Launching its inaugural Pop-Up at lululemon Marylebone on January 12th - 27th Run Junkie is the purest running class, ever. Now we’ve got the introduction out of the way, let’s explain.

Running’s a serious business, but that doesn’t mean it can’t also be fun. A whole lot of fun. Running can also be a lonely place – even with friends, you might be conscious of being left behind, or frustrated at your mate’s lagging pace.

Which is where Run Junkie comes in. It takes the simplicity and effectiveness of running outside and brings it inside to create a fun, invigorating, inspiring – and effective – workout.

Then there’s the Technogym SkillMill. Run Junkie is the first indoor running studio to utilise the innovative, non-motorised running machine powered by you - meaning you go as hard as you like.

Round it all off with wearable technology to give real-time feedback to the Run Junkie trainers, along with progress tracking via an app. And the trainers will send your performance data after each class direct to you - no flashing up on leader boards or any of that scary stuff.

Run Junkie will be partnering with blood cancer research charity Bloodwise. Bloodwise funds research projects and clinical drugs trials across the UK, to find better, more effective treatments for patients with blood cancer, such as leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma.

Rohan Putter, Director of Fundraising and Marketing at Bloodwise, says:

“For many of those affected by blood cancer, running has helped to improve fitness, provided some respite, or become a way to fundraise for blood cancer research, so we are really excited to be working closely with Run Junkie on this initiative.

And this New Year (and we promise no ‘new you’ clichés, not even in jest), Run Junkie will be popping up at lululemon in Marylebone – a Canadian women’s and men’s technical athletic apparel company.

Launching on January 12th, the Run Junkie Pop-Up will hold 42 half-hour classes until 27th January, each one only £15. It’s the perfect way to try out the running phenomenon that will have you hooked faster than you can say Jack Robinson.

A beginner, borderline Mo Farah, or somewhere in-between – it doesn’t matter at Run Junkie, because you’re running at your own natural rhythm. So, come alone or bring your mates – who doesn’t want improved fitness, stamina, power, energy and ability? And yeah, that is a rhetorical question.

Oh, and did we mention it’s fun? A whole load of it.
