Welcome to Giulia's New Sound...

Hi Giulia! So to those of you who are new to your music… could you tell us a little bit about yourself?

Hi! I am a very creative person and everything that happens in my life I love to write about and put in to my art. To me, everything is personal and real. I have lived is South America so the Latin and country music scene are a very big part of my life and my music.

So your new single ‘Trippin’ Out’ is set to be released on August 10th, and introduces a whole new era for you as an artist. Can you tell us about the writing and recording process of the track? How did it come about?

It was actually a really fast process this time… I was running outside and I had the inspiration of writing a song about that feeling between two people when they first meet and lay eyes on each other. That incredible attraction where it makes you almost dizzy.

Your sound has evolved a lot since your last release, what prompted this change in sound?

Basically my life in general and just my perspective on things. I used to take thing a little too seriously and I thought that I had to write really ‘deep’ songs for them to be good, now I know I can have fun whilst still making good music.

What made you decide to walk away from your life in the fashion industry and throw yourself into your music career? What made you decide that you needed to pursue music full time?

Music has always been my first love and mains focus, and fashion has always been my second passion. I love both in different ways, I love the way that they allow you to express yourself in your own unique way.

Who has influenced / inspired you the most as an artist? Have these influences changed as you have grown and changed as an artist?

I have been influenced by a lot of different artists and genres in my life. A lot of artists have inspired me in different ways and helped to build me as an artist.

Who are you listening to at the moment?

I am listening to a lot of trap music right now!

Can you tell us anything about your plans for the future?!

Lots of new music and live shows!

And finally… what is the one thing you wish someone had told you before you entered the music industry?

That it is really hard and competitive. That it’s not what you think it is, and it really is just a huge industry and business.
