Re-emerging last winter after years away from the spotlight Giovanna’s new single ‘Young Heart Player’ is yet another masterclass in ethereal, sultry, sophisticated pop music and a gorgeous statement of intent from the London-born singer/songwriter following hot on the heels of 2018’s, ‘Let Go Of Yourself’. ‘Young Heart Player’ is produced by Liam Howe who has gained worldwide success with Lana Del Ray, Marina & The Diamonds, FKA Twigs and Ellie Goulding.

Giovanna's roots in film scoring gives her work an instant cinematic quality, as she harnesses raw emotion effortlessly with understated but impactful instrumentation, crafting a track that instantly defines her sound. Giovanna has written music for a number of award winning films such as ‘RISK’ which won Best Film at The Portobello Film Festival.

Giovanna first made her mark back in 2011, releasing a string of singles that gained critical acclaim through a stark mix of glacial vocals and dance-esque production. She also draws inspiration from her vast ancestral heritage (Italian, Hungarian, English, Scottish, Irish and French), bringing together influences from each in remarkably subtle ways. Now, after taking some time out of the spotlight to hone her creative direction, she has returned with the first in a series of forthcoming tracks of which ‘Young Heart Player’ is set to be her summer statement single for 2019.
