Hot off the heels of previous release ‘Home’ Electro-pop talent Jerad Finck is back with another track which blends his unique lyrical style with technical know-how and acts as a rallying cry to the youth of today, to stand up and stand together in the face of adversity in the form of latest single ‘New Kids’.

His philanthropic efforts certainly set him apart from the rest of the crowd, especially for an artist so new to the electronic meets pop scene. The lyrics craftsmanship went into the making of ‘New Kids’ are a hopeful look towards a future which is worth fighting for even in a world full of dark times, a message which is particularly poignant at the present time, and really shows how on the pulse Finck is when writing lyrics and releasing tracks.

“Time to rise up, gonna hear our voices” is sung over what is an undeniably anthemic mix of synths, guitar and hand-claps before the bass kicks back in and we are swept up in the picture Finck paints of a future that is ours for the taking, if we could only put aside our differences and work together to make our voices heard.

Speaking of the spark that initiated the inspiration behind new number ‘New Kids’, Finck explains. “I felt like I had so much to say with everything going on in the world, and nothing speaks louder than music. I’ve really dove deep into mixing analogue sounds and synths with new modulation tools to really create sounds that were my own… Now I’m wrapping up and I’m so excited to get it out there.”

What’s next for this intellectual star on the rise? Set to make his UK debut on the 27th September with ‘New Kids’ and with a selection of remixes and new tracks on the horizon, Including one coming from popular UK duo Seawaves in support of charity EveryTown For Gun Violence, big things are on the horizon for Finck himself.
