The video follows Sage throughout her process of writing and recording this beautiful song. We see her in the studio writing lyrics and making final touches to the mastering, performing the song to an empty auditorium in full dress and make up, and finally playing it outside in a cathartic scene in which an entire piano is lit on fire.

These different scenes are perfect and poignant metaphors for a story such as Rachael’s. In each setting, there is something not quite right - she is alone, she has the pressure of recording a perfect take, she is losing the instrument which keeps her grounded.
