London cinematic specialist Giovanna’s latest offering ‘Can’t Go Back’ has been shortlisted as a contender in the Moscow Shorts.

Coming from a cinematic background before her emergence into solo music, Giovanna is the perfect candidate. Having had previous film project ‘RISK’, to which the singer wrote music for being nominated in the Portobello Film Festival, this acknowledgment is very much deserved.

The video itself sees Giovanna lying on the floor of a forest setting, before changing the leafy surroundings for something much more traditional. The next scene, directed by Luke Bradford is depicted in a church, with its cold walls perfectly echoing the stunning instrumentals the track contains.

The Moscow Shorts International Short Film Festival takes place every month, with the list designed to pay respect to artists whose vision needs to be seen by the masses and Giovanna’s ‘Can’t Go Back’ music video is one of the must-see works of art.
