It’s okay to feel shit. This is the controversial legend emblazoned on T-shirts the world over, thanks to So Happy In Town’s very own Susie Weaver. The mental health advocate set up So Happy In Town as a support network for “parents out there who know that as much as everything can seem tickety boo and peachy sweet at times, at others it can seem like a double helping of shit has been royally dolloped all over the place.”

Not a moment too soon. The previous campaign raised a whopping £7000 for YoungMinds, where 100% of the profits from T-shirt and tote bag sales go. The second campaign in support of YoungMinds is now underway, this time selling both T-shirts and tote bags, with the hope of raising more money and awareness amongst young people that it’s okay to feel shit, and talking about it will help.

Right about now, we all need all the mental health support we can get. The world has turned into a scary and unpredictable place, and so the conversation about mental health just got all the more important.

Luckily for us, companies like So Happy In Town are there to support, and keep the conversation going. After all, in Susie’s words, we’re all in it together.

Stay safe everyone!
