Hey Allegra! Great to catch up with you again, how’s it been going? We’ve spoken a bit before about mental health tips and trick for dealing with lockdown, and that has since led to you becoming a spokesperson for the mental health charity, So Happy In Town - congratulations! How does it feel?

Well honestly, I just believe that mental health is such a big importance in today’s society because many people don’t have the confidence to speak up. I’ve come across many of my friends who suffer with mental health and it’s just taught me that many people suffer in silence. I’m just happy to be able to do my party and become a spokesperson for mental health.

As soon as lockdown is over, can we expect more music from you? What have you been writing songs about whilst stuck indoors?

I have been writing a lot during quarantine and I’ve also started recording, so I’m really happy to be back in the studio. I’ve been writing on lots of different subjects like the distance of the heart and missing the person you're used to having around.

Can you list the top three artists who have been seeing you through lockdown? (or songs/albums/playlists)

I’ve been listening to a lot of Lauv, John Legend, Dua Lipa and Rita Ora. They really have been helping me through lockdown, many nights dancing in my room or around the kitchen.

Tell us a little bit about your Tik Tok platform - how have you been using it and where would you like to take it next?

I just love doing little dances and getting my friends involved! I would love to be able to use my own music a lot more on it and have other people make up dances of their own.

Who are your favourite people to follow on Tik Tok to stave off the lockdown boredom and why?

I’m loving Shay Mitchell’s TikToks because she is just very humours and Jason Derulo’s because he come up with unique ideas which are very entertaining.
