Singer-songwriter Ziggy Alberts has been steadily building a fanbase with a world tour spanning 28 headline dates (selling out 21 of them) at venues including the Electric Brixton in London and Paradiso in Amsterdam.

Alberts has released his latest single ‘heartbeat’ which is taken from his forthcoming album ‘searching for freedom’. Opening with a summery acoustic guitar intro, the track makes you think of blue seas and hot sun beaming down as his textured vocal arrives as the steady rhythm with light drums kicks in.

“Still gonna miss your heartbeat laying next to me” Alberts admits with complete honesty. The catchy chorus is perfect for a crowd singalong at a live show to create a warm atmosphere - and hopefully 2021 will allow him to do just that.

In conclusion, ‘heartbeat’ will appeal to people who enjoy the music of Ben Howard with its rolling guitar and storyteller lyrics that deal with the feeling of losing that special person and how much it really hurts. A song that really makes the listener think.
