Cosmic rock trio, Aliens Don’t Ring Doorbells, start their year with a bang as they release their third new single, ‘Are You Crazy’, ahead of their upcoming second album.

“It’s unusual for an independently released, debut album to achieve mainstream adult contemporary pop/rock success as fast as Aliens Don’t Ring Doorbells did. But then again, Aliens Don’t Ring Doorbells are no ordinary band.” - Headliner “Sublime… a very promising debut album” - Maverick

The Bahamas-UK-Spain-based pop-rock band, Aliens Don’t Ring Doorbells are back with a bang, as they return with their third single from their upcoming sophomore album, which is due for September of this year. This time, the band’s latest release is not just another infectious pop-rock hit but a heartfelt message to the world, ‘Are You Crazy’, scheduled for release on the 21st of April, inspiring mental health awareness ahead of May’s Mental Health Awareness Month.

The powerhouse anthem that is ‘Are You Crazy’ is a sonic supernova, with an explosive arena-ready chorus that is sure to captivate audiences around the world. Showcasing ADRD’s masterful and iconic fusion of pop, prog, and swing with an added dose of rock energy. The guitars are massive, soaring to dizzying heights over a thundering rhythm section that will shake the foundations of any stadium. The vocals are powerful and emotive, inviting listeners to join in a cathartic release of energy and emotion.

ADRD’s front man Adam King talks about the importance of discussing mental health, “Mental illness is often misunderstood; people can be quick to dismiss it as something that’s ‘all in your head’. But the truth is, conditions like depression and anxiety are the result of complex chemical imbalances in the brain that affect your entire body. As someone who has struggled with clinical depression for many years, I can attest to the fact that it’s not just a matter of feeling ‘sad’ or ‘down’ - it’s a pervasive feeling of unease and anxiety that can make even the simplest tasks seem insurmountable.

That’s why it’s so important to talk about mental illness openly and honestly and to seek help when you need it. Whether that means talking to a doctor, trying therapy, or simply confiding in a trusted friend or family member, reaching out and seeking support can make a world of difference.

For me, having the support of my loved ones has been crucial in managing my depression. And while the medication isn’t the right solution for everyone, it has helped me to balance my serotonin levels and improve my mood and overall well-being. So if you’re struggling with mental illness, know that you’re not alone - and that there is help out there. Remember: a problem shared is a problem halved.”

ADRD’s live performances are not to be missed. After supporting Scouting for Girls on their UK tour, the band played a showcase in LA and supported Roachford on his European tour in Germany, then Switzerland and Austria. ADRD’s live shows are a testament to the band’s ability to connect with their fans and spread their message of hope and positivity.

During the release of their debut album ‘Arrival’ in 2020, the album was welcomed with open arms and loved by many, solidifying ADRD’s name amongst up-and-coming pop rock stars. The band found recent major success within the United States as two of their songs (‘Daylight’ and ‘It’s Your Night’) rocketed through to break into the Top 30 in the Billboard Adult Contemporary charts. ‘Hello 2 You’, the first single off of their upcoming 2nd album, also broke into the Top 30 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary charts in 2022.
