London’s melodic storyteller Tom Speight shares a tender new effort, ‘Tomorrow’, scheduled for Friday, the 28th of April, signalling the latest reveal from the eagerly anticipated third record, ‘Love & Light’, arriving on the 11th of August via Nettwerk Music. Already achieving over 200 million streams and 1 million monthly listeners on all streaming platforms.

Dowsed in breathtaking tonality, ‘Tomorrow’ is one of the most heartfelt and delicate tracks to come from Tom in the last few years. With its beautiful piano melodies and vocals imbued with raw vulnerability and emotional depth, the track builds and rises to new heights as he elegantly weaves together themes of uncertainty, love, and hope. Tom acknowledges the uncertain nature of the future, longing for a desire to escape from limitations and find a new sense of freedom.

Speaking ahead of its arrival, Tom reveals that, “‘Tomorrow’ is a special song for me. It was inspired by several things… personally, for me, it’s about my health! The hope things will get better.”

On a single about Tom’s health, it’s important to note that Tom is an ambassador for Crohn’s & Colitis UK, having been diagnosed with Crohn’s disease 10 years ago. ‘Tomorrow’ will be released ahead of both IBD Day on May 19th (an annual event that raises awareness of Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis), and Mental Health Awareness Month. Tom is also a big supporter of the suicide prevention charity Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) and will be performing live at their forthcoming CALM sessions. Tom said, “If raising awareness of CALM and the issues around suicide helps just one person to reach out and talk, it’s worth it. I want to use my platform to help break the stigma that prevents people from opening up before they reach the point of crisis.’’

Tom Speight’s latest album, ‘Love & Light’, is a powerful exploration of love, loss, and hope, delving deep into his own personal experiences and emotions, with tracks like ‘Let Go’, which was added to Radio 2’s New To 2 playlist. Continuing to pay homage to some of Tom’s biggest inspirations, including Damien Rice, Sufjan Stevens, and John Mayer, whilst also exploring fresh territory reminiscent of Dermot Kennedy and Tom Grennan. Lead-single ‘The One’ showcased Tom’s exceptional lyrical talents, drawing comparisons to Tom Odell’s introspective approach, and quickly caught the attention of the Independent’s track of the week, with more praise from the likes of Wonderland, METAL, Headliner, and Music News.

Tom’s third album marks another milestone in his career, building on the success of his previous two standout albums, which have featured on both the big and small screens, including hit shows like The Voice, Strictly, Masterchef, To All the Boys, being the most played artist in 2021’s season of Love Island, as well as the music video for his new single ‘The One’ being played on Sunday Brunch. Tom has also been a fixture on UK television, sharing his story and work on ITV News, BBC Breakfast, and Sky News. Tom’s music has earned high praise from some of the UK’s most respected publications, including The Telegraph, The Times, and The Metro.

His music has connected with fans across the globe, with his heartfelt performances earning him support slots with the likes of James Bay, Stereophonics, and Maisie Peters. This year, Tom will embark on his biggest UK headline tour to date.
