Florence Welch on new album progress: "It feels good"

Florence Welch has revealed that progress is going well on Florence + The Machine's next album.

The British group's last album came in the shape of 2011's hit 'Ceremonials'.

The band have kept a relatively low profile in recent times, but singer Welch told Capital FM that work on their third record "feels good".

She said: "I am actually really excited. I sort of forgot how much of yourself you have to give to a record and how the beginning process of it is so hard.

"So when actually you've come through that process a bit and you can kind of see a clearer picture, you're like, 'Oh now I get it'. It's coming through to that other side now and it feels good."

Florence + The Machine's debut album 'Lungs' meanwhile was released in 2009.
