Florence + The Machine added to Neil Young charity concert line-up

Florence + The Machine are due to play at Neil Young’s annual Bridge School Benefit Concert in October.

Neil Young organises an annual fund raiser in order to support the Bridge School which helps people with speech and physical problems through alternative means of communication.

Florence Welch and her band released their last album ‘Ceremonials’ back in 2011 and have only made select live appearances this year, such as Poland’s Orange Warsaw Festival back in June.

The ‘Shake It Out’ singer has now been added to the line-up of this year’s Bridge School Benefit Concert alongside the likes of Norah Jones, Pearl Jam, Tom Jones and Soundgarden.

Tickets for the concert – which takes places over October 25 and 26 at the Shoreline Amphitheatre, California – go on sale on September 19.

Earlier this year Florence Welch confirmed that work has begun on album number three.
