Florence Welch: 'Taylor Swift gives great advice on love and boys'

'Shake It Out' songstress Florence Welch has revealed that Taylor Swift recently gave her some fantastic advice about love and 'boys'

Speaking to the Sunday Times magazine, the flame-haired hitmaker admitted that Swift provided her with great insight into the situation she had described: "I know it sounds a cliché, but she's good to talk to about boys. She knows her stuff."

"Lena Dunham was there, and Spike Jonze and Reese Witherspoon and Zooey Deschanel, eating pizza, talking about boys. I'd already asked loads of taxi drivers and everyone else I'd met [for advice] so I thought why not Taylor Swift and Spike Jonze too?"

Swift, meanwhile, will kick off her 1989 world tour tomorrow with a concert in Tokyo and she recently admitted that she's planning some exciting surprises for the extensive run of dates: "I've started picking up the phone, I started sending out the emails, and the interesting thing is when you're asking people to come and play for free, that's something you have to ask them yourself, you can't have your management go do it..."

"So I end up assuming the role of booking agent essentially when I'm on tour and just being like so, can we check her schedule, the routing, and she may be able to make it to in between that date and that date... 'Hey its Taylor, will you please come out, it's going to be a stadium show, it's going to be incredible, the crowd will love it.'"
