Florence describes second album will be heavier
Forence and the Machine star Florence Welch has described her forthcoming second album as "heavier in sound".
The singer recently returned to the studio to begin work on the follow-up to Lungs and claimed that the record would be a "step forward". Speaking to BBC Newsbeat, she said: "It sounds a bit more fuzzy, a bit harder. If the first album was animal and anatomical I think this one is chemical and elemental."
Debut LP 'Lungs' is currently at number one in the UK charts and has shifted over 700,000 copies since its release in July 2009.
