Gary Barlow says Take That fans 'aren't interested' in tax avoidance story

Gary Barlow believes Take That fans more are concerned about music than tax avoidance stories.

The singer - along with bandmates Mark Owen, Howard Donald and manager Jonathan Wild - were outed in 2012 as being part of a legal tax avoidance scheme.

Speaking in a new interview with The Sun, Barlow said his fans are probably more interested in the band rather than financial issues.

He said: "It's a problem. It's something we've got to get to the bottom of and sort.

"Our fans, they want to buy our records and watch our tours. They're not interested. We can't talk about it. And to be honest, I don't want to talk about it. It's actually a private thing."

Take That meanwhile will release their new album 'III' on December 1.

It will be preceded by the single 'These Days' on November 23.
